How to Uninstall Docsify?

It’s sad to see that you want to stop using Docsify 😢…

But if you want to do it please follow these steps to uninstall Docsify from your Chrome:

👉 Visit Chrome Extensions chrome://extensions/
👉 Find Docsify
👉 Remove it

I want to draw your attention that Docsify is a tool that consists of 2 parts:

1. app.docsify.net - it's your web account (admin panel with settings and dashboard).

2. Chrome extension - it is an addon that allows you to send tracked emails directly from your Gmail account.

So if you delete your extension you just lose an opportunity to track your new emails in Gmail.

You still have Docsify web account. So don't worry if you keep getting notifications when someone interacts with your old emails (emails that you sent with Docsify in the past).

To get the New version of Docsify much faster we'd recommend you updating Docsify manually.

To do this:

1. Go to ***chrome://extensions/2. Enable "Developer Mode"

Once you update Docsify you get all new improvements and features immediately.

Can I delete emails from the dashboard?

Right now, the Dashboard shows all emails that you have been sent using Docsify.

You CAN’T delete emails from the Dashboard because it can affect general tracking statistics.

To show you how much time has your recipient spent on each page of the PDF document you sent, we convert your documents into trackable links.

So basically you don't send attachments, you send trackable links that look like attachments.

How can non-gmail users work with Docsify?

You're not using Gmail or G Suite but still want to get the value using Docsify.

This is a quick guide for you.

(Here we'll use an Outlook email account as an example, but you may use this guide for any other email provider: Zoho, Hotmail, Yandex, and so on.)

Step #1Create a new Gmail account. For example - "name.yourcompanyname@gmail.com." Don't worry it's free.

Nope!

In order to track emails Docsify needs to insert 1x1 pixel within the emails you send. Your previous emails were sent without tracking pixel.
